Shelley Theatre is a historic 19th century building on the clifftops of Bournemouth. It is a place unlike any other.
Built in 1865, the theatre was the private home and performing space to the world famous Shelley family (including Mary Shelley, the author of Frankenstein).
Through restoration, the theatre is being restored to its former glory. Today it is an entertainment for theatre, live music, cinema, comedy and dance.
The capacity in the main theatre is 160 people, so provides and intimate environment to experience and to be a part of.
